Biography
A 1976 graduate of the University of Connecticut, magna cum laude, Attorney Shapera earned his law degree from the University of Toledo College of Law. He began practicing law in Connecticut in 1979. He formed the Law Offices of Paul N. Shapera, LLC in 1987 with offices in Hartford, New Britain and Vernon. Attorney Shapera appeared in courts throughout Connecticut, including the Connecticut Appellate Court and the Connecticut Supreme Court. He is proud of successfully and compassionately representing his clients for over 40 years in practice areas of civil litigation, personal injury claims-such as motor vehicle accidents, defective premises/fall down claims, medical malpractice, dog bites and other injuries sustained by his clients.
Attorney Shapera is associated as Of Counsel at Appleton & Appleton, LLC.
Attorney Shapera retired at the end of 2024. Attorney Shapera had been associated with Appleton & Appleton, LLC for a number of years. Appleton & Appleton, LLC continues to provide legal representation to Attorney Shapera’s prior clients.
